An investigation leads to the arrest of a Quincy man for allegedly stealing from a local business.

According to Adams County Sheriff Brian VonderHaar, his office was contacted earlier this month about internal theft that had taken place in an Adams County business.

The investigation led to the arrest Wednesday of 29 year old Joseph Scoggins of Quincy.

Scoggins has been charged with theft over $100,000. He is lodged without bond in the Adams County Jail, pending his first court appearance.
