The Pike County Illinois Sheriff needs your help in its investigation into an armed robbery in Barry earlier this week.

According to Sheriff David Greenwood, deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Jiffi Stop on Highway 106 in Barry just before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

A white male wearing a mask entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The man left with a small amount of cash and other items from the store.

The investigation into the identity of the suspect is ongoing. The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-feet-11 and about 200 pounds.

Although the suspect’s face was not seen in the store, it was captured on a surveillance camera outside.
