One Man in Custody and Two Men Are Injured Following Stabbings in Quincy

One man is in custody and two men are recovering from stab wounds following an incident late Wednesday afternoon in the 12th and Einhaus Lane area.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say a 17-year-old male and a 48-year-old male were stabbed in a vehicle occupied by the two victims and a third male. Deputies say the suspect stole the vehicle, leaving the two stabbing victims behind.

Quincy Police later located the suspect at his residence in the 800 block of North 12th in Quincy. Deputies say 44-year-old Shawn Perrine was taken into custody following a brief standoff. Perrine is held on charges of aggravated battery and theft. The investigation continues.
