On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, the Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force arrested Michael E. Robinson and Donald A. Robinson for Possession of a Controlled Substance after methamphetamine was located on both subjects. They were arrested in the 1600 block of Turn Street, Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri. The two subjects were transported by the Hannibal Police Department to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department where they were placed on a 24 hour hold.

A short time after their arrest, a search warrant was executed at the residence of Russell Darnell at 218 South 8th Street, Hannibal, MO. Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and items used to manufacture methamphetamine were found at the scene. As a result of the items found in the residence, Michael A. Robinson was arrested for Attempt to Manufacture a Controlled Substance. He was also transported to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and placed on a 24 hour hold.

The Task Force was assisted in this investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.

On Wednesday, December 17, 2014, the Marion County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed charges on all three subjects. Marion County Associate Circuit Judge John Jackson issued warrants and bond amounts for the subjects. Michael E. Robinson’s and Donald Robinson’s bond is set at $50,000.00. Michael A. Robinson’s bond is set at $100,000.00 cash only. All three remain lodged in the Marion County Jail.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
