New charges of child molestation have been filed against a Palmyra man.

Marion County Prosecutor David Clayton announced Wednesday that new charges of child molestation have been filed against 56 year old James Inlow of Palmyra.

Inlow is alleged to have had five separate sexual encounters with a child under the age of fourteen.

Inlow had been charged with child molestation last December against a different victim. Clayton says the victim in that case suffered severe mental and emotional trauma and was unable to testify against Inlow, resulting in dismissal of those charges.

Inlow has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 14th. He is in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond.
