After a weekend in which a record high temperature was hit in Hannibal Saturday, this week is expected to be more seasonal in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters say clouds move into the area Monday and will stay around through midweek. Monday and Tuesday's highs will get to the upper 40s.

A slight chance of rain and snow is in the forecast Tuesday night and Wednesday. Once that moves out, clear to partly cloudy skies will prevail, with highs around 40 the rest of the week, except for Saturday, when a high of 50 is possible.

Lows for the week will range from the mid 20s to around 30. A slight chance of rain and snow is in the forecast for Sunday.
