A Mendon man has pleaded guilty to theft charges in connection with a liquor store robbery in February.

In Adams County Circuit Court Tuesday, 22 year old Austin Crepps pleaded guilty to one count of theft. As part of a plea deal, a more severe charge of robbery was dismissed.

Crepps is alleged to have entered the Liquor Booth on North 12th February 21st, wearing a face mask and gloves and demanding money.

Crepps was arrested a short time later. Items connected to the robbery were found in his car.

Crepps is scheduled to be sentenced January 22nd.

He remains free on bond.
