(QUINCY)—A man accused in a shooting at a motorcycle club in Liberty last fall is due back in court March 21st following an appearance in Adams County Circuit Court Thursday.

The judge has ordered wording of the indictment against 41-year-old Michaelangelo Gomez changed. The state’s attorney’s office will then re-charge Gomez with attempted murder. He’s also facing a charge of aggravated discharge of a firearm. Gomez pleads not guilty to those charges.

Gomez was arrested following the October 27 shooting at the Midwest Percenters clubhouse on Main street in Liberty. Robert Morrell of Hannibal and Timothy Jackson of Roodhouse were hit and were treated and released for their injuries. Gomez trial is scheduled in June.
