Lewis County Plane Crash

(CANTON)—Two people are dead following a plane crash in Lewis County Wednesday evening. Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says names of the crash victims are not being released at this time pending notification of family members but he says they are from out of state. The plane came down near Sunflower Road and 314 Avenue about 4 ½ miles southwest of Canton. Lewis County 9-1-1 first received a call about the crash around 8:20 p-m. FAA and NTSB investigators will be on the scene today.
