John Wood Community College Retention Rates Run Above Average

A report shows John Wood Community College’s student retention rate outperforms similar sized community colleges across the country.
JWCC officials say that during the first ten days of the current semester… the school retained 96 percent of all credit hours for which students enrolled. That’s the school’s highest percentage in the last four years.

National Center for Education Statistics data shows JWCC retained 66 percent of first time… full time students from the fall of ’16 to fall of 2017. Similar schools elsewhere average a 61 percent retention rate. Retention rates for part time students at John Wood also significantly outperforms the average.
