It’s Girl Scout Cookie Time!!

If you long ago took care of the last box of Thin Mints you had stored in your freezer from last year, take heart, because it's Girl Scout Cookie Time!!

In a press release, Girls Scouts of Eastern Missouri announce that 2016 Girl Scout Cookie sales begin in eastern Missouri January 9.

And there's more good news - most of the cookie varieties you know and love, Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Do-si-dos, Savannah Smiles and Rah-Rah Raisins are still only $4 per box. A gluten-free cookie known as Toffee-tastic, will sell for $5.

Along with the traditional sale of cookies by individual girl scouts door-to-door, customers can go on-line to submit their information to be contacted by an area troop leader, or can place an order on-line.

Also, customers can designate a portion of their cookie purchase be donated to the military.

Cookie orders will be delivered and cookie booths will open February 24 and run through March 20.
