A Holliday man has been charged in connection with a fatal traffic crash in Monroe County last February.

The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 28 year old Cory Putnam Monday.
Putnam was charged Tuesday with DWI-death of another, four counts each of second degree assault and DWI-serious physical injuries, along with failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in an accident, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner and misdemeanor DWI.

Putnam is alleged to have been behind the wheel when the truck he was driving on Highway 151 in Monroe County left the road in icy conditions and overturned several times before coming to rest in a field, early on the morning of February 22nd.

31 year old Health McCall of Holliday was killed in the crash. Putnam and three others were seriously injured.

Putnam is free on bond. He will be back in court for a preliminary hearing July 10th.
