For the fourth year in a row, the Hannibal School District reports an increase in enrollment.

At Wednesday’s school board meeting, Superintendent Susan Johnson announced that total 2014-15 district enrollment stands at 3,609 students, up by 19 students from last year.

The biggest increases in enrollment came in the second and fifth grades, with student numbers up by 35 and 30, respectively.

On the flip side, there are 30 fewer kindergartners and 25 fewer eighth graders attending the Hannibal schools than a year ago.
