Hannibal Man Ticketed After Semi Hits Police Vehicles

A Hannibal truck driver faces charges after his semi struck two police vehicles involved in a traffic stop Saturday afternoon.
Illinois State Police say a semi driven by 76 year old Olin Rabe failed to yield to the emergency vehicles and change lanes on I 72 eastbound near mile post 40 in Pike County. Troopers say the trailer sideswiped an Illinois State Police car and a Pike County Sheriff's Department SUV. No injuries are reported. Troopers say Rabe was cited for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and improper lane usage.
