Hannibal Man Sentenced on Child Molestation Charge

Fifteen years is the sentence for a man who plead guilty to first degree child molestation. Michael Stone entered the plea in Marion County Circuit Court. The sentence issued by Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd is
the maximum allowed under the law. Marion County Prosecutor David Clayton says Stone was originally charged in a second
case of sexual abuse of the same victim by touching her outside of her clothing. That case was dismissed in exchange for not putting the victim through the ordeal of a trial. Clayton says they have since moved out of Missouri.
