The latest addition to the Hannibal-LaGrange University campus will be dedicated Friday, October 16.

The dedication and ribbon cutting of the new Carroll Science Center takes place at 10 a.m. in the front of the new building.

The 40,000 square foot, $7 million structure houses a 58-seat computer lab/classroom, five science labs, two nursing skill labs, two nursing lab hospital rooms, a nursing library, nine multimedia classrooms, a spacious lobby, five student lounges, two conference rooms, two group study rooms, two individual study rooms and 20 faculty offices.

According to HLGU President Dr. Anthony Allen, "This state-of-the-art science facility supports our growing medical science programs and will become the foundation for future expansion of degree programs."

An additional $750,000 is still needed to furnish the CSC. Anyone who would like to make a contribution to the completion of the Carroll Science Center is asked to contact the Hannibal-LaGrange Office of Institutional Advancement at 573-629-3124, email giving@hlg.edu or go to hlg.edu/giving.
