Gas Prices at Five Year Low

You’ll find the lowest gas prices in five years as you set out on your holiday travels. 

The average cost for a gallon Tuesday in Missouri was two dollars and two cents. However, drivers could find gas as low as one dollar and 81 cents in Desoto. The top price across Missouri was three dollars and 19 cents in Cape Girardeau.

In Illinois, the average was two dollars and 35 cents a gallon. The lowest price was one dollar and 93 cents in Jacksonville, with the highest at three dollars and 89 cents in Chicago. Quincy is at 2.19, Hannibal is at 2.15 early this morning.

In Pike County, Missouri, drivers were paying two dollars and nine cents.
