The rain-free week that farmers in northeast Missouri and western Illinois have been waiting for is apparently here.

National Weather Service forecasters say the week will be mostly clear and crisp, with no rain predicted through Sunday.

High temperatures for the week start at 68 Monday, dip to 61 Wednesday and bounce back to 71 by Saturday.

Lows for week are expected to follow a similar path, starting the week at 45 Monday, bottoming out at 41 Tuesday and Wednesday, then rising to 50 Friday night.
