(HULL)—It was a close call Wednesday. A passing train narrowly missed hitting a four year old boy at the east edge of Hull. Pike County Illinois Sheriff’s deputies were looking for a missing boy when a deputy heard a passing train blow its horn in an unusual manner. The train conductor said he saw a young male child east of town sitting on a railroad tie. The boy was found uninjured near the tracks. He was taken to Blessing Hospital to be checked out.
