The National Weather Service issues flood warnings for the Mississippi River at Louisiana and Clarksville.

The warnings run from Saturday evening through Friday, December 4.

As of 6:30 a.m. Saturday, the river stage at Louisiana was 13.49 feet. Flood stage is 15 feet. Forecasters expect the river to rise above flood stage late Saturday night, continue to rise to near 15.6 feet by early Tuesday afternoon, dropping below flood stage by Thursday morning.

At Clarksville, the river stage at 6:30 a.m. Saturday was 23.39 feet. Flood stage is 25 feet. The river is expected to rise to 25.7 feet by Tuesday morning and fall below flood stage by Thursday morning.
