(Quincy) – Health department officials in Adams County report the first mosquito sample to test positive for West Nile Virus in Adams County this season.
Officials advise that a bite from an infected mosquito can result in anything from no symptoms at all to mild flu-like symptoms to, in extreme cases, paralysis and death.
