Hannibal fire investigators say an electrical problem caused this fire Thursday morning. 
Fire crews were called to 314 South 7th in Hannibal around 8 a-m.  They arrived to find smoke coming from a vent on the roof,  chimneys and from around the eaves of the  frame house.  No flames were visible but the fire resulted in considerable smoke through the area east of the house. The 300 block of South 7th is closed to traffic. Hannibal Police and Marion County Ambulance crews were also on scene.
Firefighters were called back to battle a flare up around 10 p-m Thursday.
