Hannibal firefighters were on the scene of a house fire early Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called back to 2003 Broadway at 5:01 this morning. Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the attic as fire crews arrived early this morning. Firefighters were called to that residence at mid afternoon Friday where they found flames coming from the rear of the duplex. Fire crews were on scene for several hours following the first call. Hannibal Fire Chief Sean Hampton says the building was being renovated and that it appears the first fire started in the attic. Broadway is closed in that area due to the firefighting efforts. No word on the cause of the fires.
