Fire Damages Fowler Home

Investigators from the Illinois Fire Marshal’s office are expected in Fowler after fire damaged a residence overnight.

Central Adams Fire Chief Bill Phillips says a house at 1329 North 1720th was the scene of a fire in an upstairs room. That alarm came in at 9:48 p.m. Firefighters were called back to the scene around 3 a.m. after the fire apparently re-ignited. No injuries are reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
