Felony Theft Reported in Palmyra

(Palmyra, Mo)–Police Chief Eddie Bogue has released details of a felony theft that occurred last Tuesday, March 19 in an alley near the 100 Block of Lafayette street in Palmyra.  An undetermined amount of cash was allegedly taken from inside the cab of a parked Wholesale Food delivery truck.

Witnesses say two suspects were seen leaving the area in a gold-colored vehicle, possibly a Chevy Impala. The passenger was described as a black male with dred locks and glasses, and the driver was also believed to be a black male.   There was no force used in commission of the crime.

Chief Bogue urges anyone with information to call the Palmyra Police Dept at 573.769.5540.
