The CHART Teen Task Force announces its nineteenth Teen Health Fair on Saturday, February 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center in Hannibal. The Health Fair features booths on health and safety for teens, a DJ with music, free prizes for teens, and free food for all visitors. At the Health Fair, teens can learn about seat belt safety with the convincer sled, and put on glasses simulating the effects of alcohol on simple tasks. Information on the dangers of texting while driving, dental and mental health issues, and effects of drugs and alcohol will be presented. This free teen event is designed to promote healthy lifestyle choices for teens. The event is co-sponsored by the CHART Teen Task Force and Hannibal Parks and Recreation.
