DUI Checkpoint Arrests in Missouri and Illinois

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers and Illinois State Police report results of roadside safety checks from last weekend.

The Highway Patrol says a checkpoint on Missouri 79 at Route T in Hannibal late Friday night and early Saturday morning resulted in ten citations for seat belt violations and two arrests for misdemeanor warrants. No DUI arrests resulted from the checkpoint on Missouri 79.

Illinois State Police say a roadside safety check in Adams County late Saturday night and early Sunday morning netted one DUI arrest and three other alcohol or drug related arrests. Two motorists were ticketed for drivers license offenses and six written warnings were issued.
