Drug induced homicide charges filed against a St. Louis man earlier this year have been dropped by the Adams County State’s Attorney.

37 year old Michael Frazier was arrested in January as a result of the death of Joseph Martinez at his home in the 900 block of Hampshire in July of 2015.

Frazier was alleged to have provided fentanyl laced heroin to Martinez.

In a statement from State’s Attorney Lead Trial Counsel Joshua Jones, he said that an investigation into the case cast significant doubt on whether Frazier had been Martinez’ supplier.

Frazier had been scheduled to go on trial September 11th.
