Driver and Pedestrian Ticketed in Quincy Mishap

The driver and a pedestrian are both ticketed as the result of a mishap at 60th and Broadway in Quincy at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies report 21 year old Paige Brumbaugh of Hannibal was westbound when she struck an intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway.

The pedestrian, identified as 28 year old Justin Nichelson, also of Hannibal, was taken to Blessing Hospital and was last reported in stable condition.

Brumbaugh was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and DUI. Nichelson was cited for improper walking on the highway and pedestrian under in influence of alcohol or drugs.
