A death investigation is underway following the discovery of a body at mid afternoon Saturday in northwest Quincy.
Quincy Police say a man walking his dog called to report he found a body about 100 yards west of North Fifth and just north of the railroad tracks. A Quincy Police detective and crime scene technician and Adams County Coroner Jim Keller were called to the scene to investigate. Authorities are currently working to identify the body.
