The pre-trial hearing in the murder case involving a former Adams County prosecutor scheduled for Monday was postponed.

The attorneys for 47-year-old Curtis Lovelace requested the postponement.

A request for a change of venue in case was expected to be discussed at Monday’s hearing.

Lovelace is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Cory Lovelace, in 2006. Curtis Lovelace was an Assistant Adams County State’s Attorney at the time.

Lovelace has pleaded not guilty and is in the Adams County Jail on 5-million dollars bond.
