Charges Filed Following July 6th Shooting in Hannibal

A Hannibal man is formally charged after authorities say he fired several shots at a house on July 6th.

Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton says Gary Haynes Jr. is charged with unlawful use of a weapon… assault and armed criminal action. Haynes is alleged to have fired several shots into an occupied residence. There were no injuries. Clayton says this case has the highest of priorities for his office. Haynes faces up to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
