A change of venue has been granted in the case of a St. Louis man accused of pointing a gun at a student at Culver Stockton College.

During a recent hearing, Associate Circuit Judge Rick Roberts granted a request for a change of venue for 19 year old Maxwell Webber.

The case will now be heard in Adair County.

Webber is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, attempted robbery and attempted felonious restraint.

Webber, a former Culver Stockton student, is alleged to have pointed a handgun at a male student in a parking lot near Joe Charles Fieldhouse.
