Illinois State Police say cell phone use is to blame for a one vehicle crash on I-72 east of Hannibal late Monday afternoon.

Troopers say a car driven by 44 year old Roger Bush of Hannibal was westbound when he became distracted while driving and using a hand held cell phone. Bush ran off the road and hit a guard rail. He was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Bush was cited for improper lane usage… use of a hand held cell phone while driving and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
