Brokes Pleads Not Guilty to Marion County Homicide

A Hannibal man pleads not guilty Monday to charges related to a shooting in Hannibal and a homicide in Marion County last January.

Timothy Brokes entered the plea in Marion County Circuit Court. He is charged with first degree murder in the death of Brittany Gauch and assault in the shooting of her husband, Aaron Gauch, both on January 12th.

Brokes also faces assault charges in Monroe County in connection with the shooting of Monroe City Police Officer Travis Pugh.

Brokes’ next hearing in Marion County is set for July 18th.
