At the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum, it's all about "The Becky."

The restoration and renovation of the Becky Thatcher House has been an ongoing project for the home and museum for about four years, and fund raising efforts continue to complete the work.

Of course, "the Becky" is the home in which Laura Hawkins, the real like girl upon which Sam Clemens based the character Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

Along with serving as a tourist attraction, the Becky will serve as a place for children to learn about the kids of the 1800's.

Among the fund raising efforts are the sale of the limited edition Becky Dolls, along with the fourth annual Trivia Night coming in January.
