(Hannibal) – At least three people are hurt and one is taken into custody following a traffic crash involving at least six vehicles on Stardust Drive in Hannibal Friday afternoon.

Hannibal Police report the crash occurred about 1 p.m. Friday at the Aldi’s parking lot. HPD said injuries as a result of the crash ranged from minor to serious, and that one driver fled the scene and was arrested a short distance from the crash.

Media reports indicate the man who was arrested was driving a pick-up truck left the road, clipped a number of vehicles, including an OATS bus, in the Aldi’s parking lot. The truck came to rest on its top.

One injured person was airlifted from the scene, while at least two others were taken from the scene by ambulance.

Hannibal Police say the crash is still under investigation.
