Traffic cameras

If you have a heavy foot and drive in Illinois, you need to know that 50 new speed cameras are incoming and 16 are scheduled to go live this coming week.

When this Missouri traffic camera was originally put in place, it had one job - to monitor traffic over a highway. It accidentally just did another job and that's capturing video of a meteor exploding in the sky over the roadway.

This could have and probably should have been tragic. A suspected impaired driver ran into a truck and it almost immediately explodes, but all miraculously survive. This entire incident was captured by a traffic camera.
