The era of these Mississippi River riverboat ferries has sadly come and gone with only a few precious exceptions.

I love the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. They've always made home feel like home. For many that aren't fortunate to live near them, scenic cruises provide an opportunity to experience them and one with many Missouri stops was just named one of the prettiest in America.

The 80's were the best. If you doubt me, take a journey with me into the now distant past when Missouri was so 80's that it had a McDonald's riverboat dock at the St. Louis riverfront.
