A St. Louis man is the latest Missouri Lottery-made millionaire. Thirty-year-old Christopher Henson won $1 million as part of a May Powerball drawing. Henson says he'll use it to pay for his wedding, fund college for his children and buy a home.
The Powerball ticket now worth an estimated $590.5 million wasn't sold in Missouri. But two Missouri Powerball players were so close to picking all the winning numbers that that their tickets are worth $1 million each.
It's likely that the purchase of the multimillion Powerball ticket is the biggest thing to happen in a long time in the northwest Missouri town where the lucky ticket was sold.
