Many in Missouri claim something massive is lurking under the waters of the Mississippi River.

Missouri is known for mysterious creatures including Bigfoot, Mo-Mo, Sasquatch among others. But, did you know that the smelliest monster of them all exists somewhere in the Ozarks right across the Missouri border according to legends?

It began in 1973 when children in a home in Illinois heard something scratching at their front door. It would eventually lead to mass hysteria in Enfield Township in Illinois and the surrounding area that would even include claims of animal mutilations. This is the story of the Enfield Horror.

I laughed pretty hard when I saw this subject brought up. The Mothman in Missouri? Really? I stopped laughing when I found real sightings of this strange creature in Missouri for the past few years.

Of all the Bigfoot encounters I've shared, this might be the most unique. As a Missouri man tells it, a Bigfoot ate his family's leftovers. This will require some explaining.
