Here in the midwest, we are used to some terrible storms, but one storm is on record for being the deadliest in U.S. history.

We've seen videos of water turning to dust with cold temps and eggs cooking in hot cars, but I am sure you've never seen pasta frozen after an ice storm.

If you're at home and start hearing loud noises or popping sounds that sound like someone is firing a gun or breaking into your home, don't worry. The sound you are hearing is due to a thing called "frost quakes".

It's been a heck of a year for weather and Quincy tops the National Weather Serice top 5 list for weather events in 2021.

With this week's high temps I am sure you're not thinking about winter coats and snow. However according to the Farmer's Almanac we could be headed into a harsh winter.
