The Missouri State Fire Marshall’s Office rules that the cause of a fire that destroyed a Palmyra business Sunday is officially undetermined.
Missouri Fire Marshal’s Office investigators will be looking for the cause of a Sunday evening fire at 103 North 4th in LaGrange. The house sustained extensive damage. The LaGrange Fire Department says no one was home at the time and no injuries are reported.
A state ruling confirms results of an investigation that determined a fatal Louisiana fire was accidental. 3 year-old Riley Jeffrey Rieser died of smoke inhalation secondary to carbon monoxide poisoning on October 31 of last year. His parents were able to escape. The early-morning fire broke out in the family’s home at 415 South Main Street in Louisiana.
