Lewis County C1 Schools

One area school district has eased one of its COVID related requirements.

Thanks to COVID-19, learning will be non-traditional in the Canton R-5 and Lewis County C-1 schools districts for the immediate future.

The Lewis County C-1 School District is fighting to stay open, in spite of COVID cases reported at Highland High School.

The driver of the Lewis County C-1 school bus that crashed in April has been issued a traffic citation in connection with the crash.
