The Hannibal Pirates are gearing up for a second go at the Mexico Bulldogs, this time in District play.

The 3-6 Holt Indians arrive in America’s hometown for first round district football Friday night at Porter Stadium against the 6-3 Pirates.

The regular season schedule concludes Friday when Hannibal hosts the Jaguars of Ft. Zumwalt West from O’Fallon, Mo.

The Pirates want to finish the regular season in robust fashion before district play begins. Step one is handling the Owls in Marshall.
