Palmyra celebrates its bicentennial in a big way Saturday. Palmyra’s 200th birthday celebration begins with the Kiwanis pancake and sausage breakfast at 7 a.m. at the fire station.

With the coming of spring and warmer weather comes the season of American Cancer Society Relay for Life fund raisers in the area.

Preparations are underway for one of the area's most popular fundraisers. The 19th annual Marion County Relay for Life happens Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6 at Flower City Park in Palmyra.
