A lot of homes have guard dogs. I found one home in the Midwest that doesn't need one. It has a guard duck named Angus and no one passes unless Angus approves and Angus never approves.

If you're not from Missouri or Illinois, you need to understand that we do things a little differently around here. One prime example happened when some Illinois duck hunters saw a tornado nearby and decided to take selfies with it. Yes, I can prove this happened.

If you have a heart for animals, there is one place in Missouri you really need to know about. It's a rescue ranch that has horses, pigs, ducks and other animals that you can potentially adopt.

I'm sure you try to concentrate at your job (if not, let's pretend), but I doubt you have ever focused as hard as a border collie who just gave a master class on how to herd ducks.

If you and your dogs decide to cross a stream, you need to remember that now you're in duck territory. A family learned this recently as their Golden Retrievers received a throw down from a feathered duck navy.
