Canoes

I don't want to giveaway my exact age, but let's just say that I am way overdue to begin my midlife crisis. It's a good thing I live in Missouri because there are no better states I can think of to begin a middle of life meltdown.

There are only a couple of things I've done in my life where I could say to anyone else "you need to do this". This is one of those things. It's a float down the Eleven Point River in Missouri and I truly believe it should be a bucket list trip for anyone that enjoys the water and spending time together.

Would you be willing to canoe across almost the entire state of Missouri? Many are doing that right now in what was called the longest canoe and kayak race in the world.

If you're looking for a new water entertainment option in Missouri, you won't have to travel far as there's a new waterway opening north of St. Louis this weekend.

We all have our ways of dealing with winter. For me, my mind leaves the current cold and/or snow and imagines where my family can go once spring gets here. A new addition to my list is a lazy Missouri float trip that begins near a gorgeous waterfall.
