Have you ever done anything so memorable that it stuck with you for decades? That's what happened to me when I canoed the Eleven Point River in Missouri. Looking back I can easily say that it's one of the best highlights of my life.

Sometimes it's hard to appreciate something when you grew up with it practically in your own backyard. That's the case for a Missouri river that was just named the most scenic canoe trip you can take in America.
