Quincy Police Make Arrest in Stabbing Incident
Quincy Police report one person is arrested after two residents are found suffering from knife wounds at 1606 Van Buren Street.
Police responding to the home at 7:16 p.m. Saturday made contact with two residents. Both were taken to Blessing Hospital with what appeared to be knife-related wounds.
Police say one resident, 36 year-old Heather Riley was treated and released from Blessing ER and then taken to the Adams County Jail on Armed Violence and Aggravated Domestic Battery charges.
The other resident, a 40 year-old male, was admitted to the hospital with injuries to the chest and shoulder area.
Police say a knife was recovered during the investigation.
